Several months ago Kat came home with an idea for a book. Not a serious idea, just a jokey thing that would likely be classed as a novelty book. We tossed around that idea for a while, adding to it and improving it. Even creating a mock up of what it might look like.
And then we thought ‘why don’t we actually do this?’
So, we are.
Yes, Kat and I are creating a book. I’m not going into the details of what the book is about just yet, I just want to plug the new blog that we created especially for the book.
We’ll be posting about our progress, giving some sneak peaks of the book and probably calling out for help from would be publishers, photographers, illustrators or whatever else we need. We will also be posting on twitter (@buildingabook), so please do check it out and keep up to date with the project.
To close I shall give you your first clue about what the book is about. We have bought some books as research. They are:
- Communism: A Very Short Introduction
- The Writers and Artists Handbook 2010
- The Food Writers Handbook
