A home-based role assessing private medical insurance claims, and arranging payment of both reimbursement cases and provider invoices. Role requires a good work ethic, the ability to work alone for long periods. But also requires great communication with clients, third parties and colleagues.

Working in Private Health Insurance claims and medical assistance, the roll involves assessing and managing claims for individual and corporate clients worldwide, received by phone and by email. This ranges from simple planned medical treatment to emergency evacuations and repatriations and requires communication with the patient, the insurer, the treating hospital and our internal medical team. It also requires an understanding on multiple policies from multiple insurers, being able to quickly answer any queries from customers. Also involved in aspects of claims training for colleagues and arranging reimbursement payments for small claims and organising direct billing for hospital admissions.

Working in the Affinities Sales department; leading a team selling Household, Motor and Travel insurance under the Age UK brand. Role involves the day to day running of a team that is comprised of 11 Sales Advisors, providing coaching, answering queries and dealing with any performance and behavioural issues that may arise.

Work within a busy Private Medical Insurance claims department. Role predominantly involves coaching of Claims Assessors, helping them make correct decisions on claims, allocating work and monitoring quality standards. Also involved with statistical reporting on staff performance. Have been responsible for creating written working processes and liaising with stakeholders at various levels to implement them within the department. Also deal with complaint handling, investigating potential fraud and acting as primary contact for booking teams in three large private hospital chains. As part of my own development I have been directly responsible for three staff since the beginning of 2015 and stepping up into the manager role when required to lead the team with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.

Temporary position, maternity cover. • Frequently meeting with outside suppliers and clients, creating hire purchase documents. • Ability to adapt whilst working alongside Asset Finance sales team and other departments.
